Opening the 'secret' inner-frame flush-inset door inside the outer frame reveals a lush black interior that includes a walnut rawhide pad adjustable shelf with a matching leather back. Between the two frames a 1/8" reveal adds a decorative detail to the contemporary outside appearance.

The 12” x 15” x 3-5/8”, interior space fits in-between the  2" X 4" studs spaced 16" on center in your  1/2"dry wall while the  16"W x 19"H outer frame overlays your cut-out and protrudes 1", out from the surface, giving a snug fit inside your wall..

Lockable only in a semi-secure fashion, however with the combination between the magnetic lock and the touch catch another level of security is added, or the lock may be disengaged for quicker access via  touch catch.  Push the same time the magnet is applied to its spot and spring open.

Clip-catch type hinge/plate easily releases the inner frame for picture installation and mounting the concealed box - joined outer frame unit.

Position the box unit over the spot you want it (between studs) and level. Draw an outline around the box and cut on the line.  Dry fit. Use construction adhesive  around the perimeter and push into place. Tape tightly to the wall and allow time before you remove the tape.

Remove the latch side door screws & frame to mount an 8 X 10 portrait on an 11 x 14 standard matting. Glass, matt, and backer are included.

Replace the frame-end snugging the 3-screws back into place. Pre-adjusted clip-hinges makes your frame easy to remove and replace. Simply snap them back on. Non-handed door swing.
